Welcome to the Florida Department of Health Emergency Notification System

FDENS serves as Florida's Health Alert Network solution for disseminating emergent health information to public health professionals and community partners. This is an internet based application developed by the Florida Department of Health which requires a user name and password for access. There are currently over 20,000 users registered in FDENS from the local health departments, the Florida Department of Health, other state agencies and many community partners

The FDENS application offers a range of ways to send an alert to lists of users, using a variety of communication devices. Alerts can be sent to email, telephone and faxes. Our purpose is to provide consistent, timely, and accurate information on public health related issues.
